থিয়েটার পাঠের একটি অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হচ্ছে পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন ভাষার নাটক দেখা, টেক্সট পড়া, ধ্রুপদী সাহিত্য পড়া, এবং ধ্রুপদী চলচ্চিত্র দেখা। এখানে কিছু উদাহরন দেয়া হলো। চাইলে আপনিও আপনার প্রিয় নাটক বা চলচ্চিত্র নিয়ে লিখতে পারেন। 

1. 
   Waiting for Godot (Samuel Becket): This is an absurdist play. Only four characters. Language is very basic and can be easily understood. One of the greatest modern plays about the condition of modern man. The photograph on the right shows all 4 characters in the play in a single frame.
   
2. A Doll’s House (Henrik Ibsen): A play about domestic life. Talks about the position of women in domestic circle. Nora, the central character, questions the need of staying in a house where she is nothing more than a puppet. 
3. Riders to the Sea (John Middleton Singe): This is an Irish play about the characters who live in a coastal fishing village. Who is powerful? Man’s will? Nature? Fate?
4. The Seagull (Anton Chekhov): One of the greatest modern plays coming from Russia’s great playwright. This play shows the conflict of two different types of Artists. The mother (an actress) who lives for public praise. And the son (a playwright), who wants to create something new for the new age. Who will win?
